"Happy" Ending :)

Our wiggly little Hoppy found her forever family today-and I could not be happier!!
She went home with a family with 2 girls (9 & 11) that have no other pets (except 2 outdoor chickens!) and the dad works from home so HAPPY as she is now called will be getting all of the attention and love she so deserves!!

The 2 little girls were so adorable and they loved little Hoppy as soon as they saw her! The girls specifically wanted a special needs dog that maybe other people wouldn't want-I almost cried they were so sweet to Hoppy and I knew right away I wanted them to take her home.

Hoppy will always be a very special foster-she went through SO much in her month with us and yet she never stopped her wiggle. She took her surgeries in stride, put up with 3 weeks of staples and being a cone-head..Had to learn to balance and take stairs and had to deal with our 4 dogs being scared of her!

I still can't understand how someone would send her to a high kill shelter-however, it's their loss. They are missing out on one of the best puppies we've ever fostered.

I made the family promise that they would keep in touch and I hope they will bring Happy to see us--my whole house will miss her (except maybe Sidney my snobby girl)....I'm ready for the next foster-i'm not sure any will be quite as special as Hoppy...She's pretty amazing:)

Everyone loves our wiggly puppy!

Hoppy is officially up for adoption now and I have gotten some very great inquiries on her. She is going to meet some potential families tomorrow and Friday. I really want to find her a perfect home and know that whoever she picks will be right.

She is getting her spay staples out on Friday and it will be her 1st time in a month that she is staple free! She has certainly found her personality in the past week--she picks up everything in the house to "show off"...She's so happy and zips around the yard with no problem at all!

My dogs are still not fond of her, but Claudi is warming up a little when Hoppy has a toy to share:)

I can't wait to place Hoppy in her forever home-I will miss her very much, but she deserves to have a home of her own and being free from surgery and pain!
